Welcome to Elmore Elementary School, home of the Eagles!
Our school has more than 70 years of academic excellence while building strong family and student connections. Our school was recently awarded the honor of 2011-2012 School of Excellence Award given by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Our dedicated staff empowers our students to ensure they are striving to meet their potential every day. They differentiate to student needs by implementing a diverse and comprehensive curriculum, preparing our students for the rigor of middle school, high school, and beyond.
All students and staff firmly believe that to succeed each day we all must: Be Safe, Organized, An Attentive Listener, and Respectful/Responsible (SOAR). This is the foundation of creating a learning environment in which all students can be successful!
We receive support from an array of volunteers who help foster community at Elmore Elementary. The Volunteer Center of Brown County provides reading coaches, officers from the D.A.R.E. program teach our fifth graders about the importance of staying drug free, and Junior Achievement programs are provided to teach students about business, economics and their importance to our world. We also have many individuals from the community who tutor our students or provide enrichment opportunities to help support our belief that all students can and will learn.
We have a very active FSO (Family/Support Organization), who provide monies for a variety of activities for the students and families of Elmore Elementary. We have annual events including a Veteran’s Day ceremony, Camp Read-A-Lot, Field Day, and Favorite Gentleman/Woman Breakfast. They are all family and student favorites for fun as well as academic opportunities.
